Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) groups and leaders from across Greater Manchester have come together to develop a draft manifesto
Our manifesto sets out a vision for Greater Manchester by its hard-working VCFSE sector.
This vision was brought together through consultation exercises from the end of 2023 and 2024 with contributions from the GM VCFSE Leadership Group representing thematic and local infrastructure organisations, providers and equalities organisations across Greater Manchester, as well as through a wider sector consultation event and open survey.
We have formed a vision that we would like to work towards with our local government partners such as the GMCA with whom we are already working with closely under the GM VCFSE Accord. However, where we see barriers to our vision, we can see their roots in challenges such as the cost-of-living crisis, Covid-19 and existing national government policy.
Working together, we see an opportunity in this manifesto to build on our existing success and champion the change we need to see to address the issues faced by our communities.
