This portfolio highlights the different ways the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector is creating a fairer and more inclusive economy in Greater Manchester.

Part 2 of the series, Net Zero: A Just Transition, highlights examples of where community organisations and social enterprises in Greater Manchester are carrying out project and activities that contribute to a ‘just transition’. We want to progress towards net zero, but need to do so in a fair and just way, so that inequality within communities is not made worse.

This is the second in series of portfolios produced by GMCVO on behalf of the Inclusive Economy working group of the GM VCFSE Leadership group, working towards the commitments of the GM VCSE Accord.

Parts 1, 3 and 4 demonstrate how the sector is creating an inclusive economy through Community Ownership, a ‘Just Transition’ towards Net Zero, Good Employment and Trading for Social Good.
