This portfolio highlights the different ways the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector is creating a fairer and more inclusive economy in Greater Manchester (GM).

Produced by GMCVO in partnership with the GM VCFSE Leadership Group to support the delivery of the Greater Manchester VCSE Accord, it aims to share how the sector is working to tackle the growing challenges of poverty and inequality across the region.

The first in a series of portfolios of good practice, this report demonstrates how the sector is creating an inclusive economy through Community Ownership through a range of profiles featuring practical examples of how organisations are helping to support communities and create a fairer economy in Greater Manchester.

This is the first in series of portfolios produced by GMCVO on behalf of the Inclusive Economy working group of the GM VCFSE Leadership group, working towards the commitments of the GM VCSE Accord.

Parts 2 - 4 demonstrate how the sector is creating an inclusive economy through a ‘Just Transition’ towards Net Zero, Good Employment and Trading for Social Good.
