Duncan Craig OBE

Duncan is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of We Are Survivors, the largest male victims organisation in the UK, supporting male victims/survivors of sexual harms. In his current role, he is part of the Ministry of Justice victims response workstreams; NHS England’s Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence response; and supports a number of international pieces of work, including the International Criminal Court’s work on sexual violence in conflict settings.

His previous leadership roles have been in the area of PR & Marketing at the Palace Theatre and Opera House, People’s History Museum, and for numerous West End theatre Producers; roles as a trustee and Chair in various organisations including Manchester Craft & Design Centre, MIND, Sick! Festival and Oldham Coliseum Theatre; and supports a number of VCFSE leaders and organisations at ‘start up’ stage including Baggy Trousers Cancer Charity and Mandem Meetup.

Duncan is the proud recipient of an OBE and the prestigious Medal of Honour from the University of Manchester, where he is currently an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in Criminology.
