UK Shared Prosperity Fund: Update for GM VCSE sector

Greater Manchester Combined Authority is currently working with Local Authorities and other key stakeholders on high-level Investment Plans for the two elements of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF): the core UKSPF and the Multiply adult numeracy programme. The plans need to be submitted to UK Government by the 1st August 2022 for the core UKSPF and 30th June 2022 for Multiply. Once GMCA has received approval from UK Government for the two high-level Investment Plans, they will be looking to engage more widely with stakeholders as they work to develop detailed Implementation Plans over late summer / autumn that will set out the funding available to achieve agreed outcomes/outputs, routes to market and a programme management framework.

GMCA recently held a VCSE briefing session for the fund. You can view a recording of the session here and view the slides here. The GM VCSE Leadership Group is supporting the sector to get involved with this process and local CVSs are working with councils to help develop local proposals. We will provide further updates as they become available.
