Survey: Make Smoking History - VCFSE activities

The GM Make Smoking History Alliance is a collective of providers overseeing smoking cessation work in Greater Manchester. As part of this work, they’re trying to compile a directory of services that are being provided in this area, including those within the VCFSE.

This includes work on any and all forms of tobacco, including shisha, vapes, pouches and/or its role in cannabis use.

Let us know about any Smoking Cessation work you're doing, irrespective of funding. If you currently do work in this area, including where your focus might be on something else but includes some element of encouraging people to quit smoking, please do let us know.

The role of the VCFSE sector in smoking cessation work is a lot less well understood by the statutory agencies, so we are gathering a picture of activities in this area by highlighting just how many touch points the VCFSE has in encouraging quitting smoking.
