Respond to the Pathways to Work Green Paper
On 18th March 2025, the government launched a ‘Pathways to Work’ Green Paper which outlines their plans to reform the health and disability benefits system and employment support.
Alongside this, government has launched a consultation which is open to any individual or organisation to provide feedback on some (not all) aspects of the green paper.
Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) will be submitting a response to the consultation. They are encouraging any residents and organisations within Greater Manchester to also submit their own responses to the consultation.
VSNW have produced a handy guide for VCFSE organisations to engage in the consultation. Read it here.
If you want a conversation around this, please contact John Hannen atJohn.Hannen@vsnw.org.uk
If you would like to provide any evidence or insights to GMCA to include in their submission (in order to create a joined-up response), please do so by Friday 16th May by sending to: emily.adams@greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk. When providing evidence please ensure you clearly state which consultation question(s) your evidence refers to.
If you would prefer a discussion about the green paper or would like Emily to join any planned discussions within your organisation, please get in touch.
