Population Health Programme Report now available

Population Health is an approach that aims to improve the health of a population, including physical and mental health and wellbeing. The approach also reduces health inequalities.

It is one of the delivery themes under the VCFSE Accord Agreement

The objective of the work is to actively contribute to a measurable improvement in the health of Greater Manchester residents by scaling up the role of the VCSE sector as a strategic partner and provider of services. The work is framed by the shared commitments in the Greater Manchester VCFSE Accord and has four main delivery areas:

  • Social prescribing and person and community centred approaches
  • VCFSE Data, Intelligence, and Insight
  • Developing the Greater Manchester Population Health System
  • Tackling inequality and Fairer Health for All

This Programme Report provides more details of each main delivery area, as well as sharing what's next.
