Greater Manchester Social Enterprise Summit 2024

Social Enterprise Day this year is on 21st November 2024. Hosted by SEUK, this is a day to showcase and celebrate social enterprises across the UK.

Here in Greater Manchester, we want to bring together local social enterprises, trading charities and community businesses and their supporters for our own day of networking, awareness raising and sharing of insight and knowledge.

We are therefore hosting a GM Social Enterprise Summit on Monday 18th November 2024. Funded by GMCA, attendees at this event can:

• Hear from Andy Burnham and Bev Craig about their vision for Greater Manchester and their aspirations for social businesses
• Find out more about plans for a new Greater Manchester Industrial Strategy and contribute to its development
• Meet the Greater Manchester Social Enterprise Action Group (SEAG) and find out more about what they doing to stimulate growth of social enterprise in our city region
• Find out more about and connect with Our Business, Greater Manchester’s hub which is all about sharing knowledge, building community and offering help, to support and empower Greater Manchester’s social economy
• Access help and support available for businesses trading for social good
