Commissioning Spotlight Keeps Sector Up To Date

The VCSE Commissioning and Investment Group, a formal subgroup of the Greater Manchester VCSE Leadership Group, has published a commissioning spotlight paper to update VCSE organisations working in commissioning with system developments and challenges facing the sector. Changes in how public sector partners approach commissioning are underway, alongside changes to the system itself. There is a move towards integration, place-based working and a more collaborative model of commissioning, meaning that the relationship between VCSE organisations and commissioners will evolve, and new partnerships will need to be made.

All of this is outlined in the paper alongside an outline of how practices are impacting the VCSE sector. Intended as a resource for the whole sector, the spotlight paper can be viewed here and can be read alongside the briefing note for commissioners also published by the group.
